This Website is dedicated to my Obsession: Dune

Why am I obsessed with Dune? Frankly, the simplest answer is that no other book story has captivated me in this way. I read the first book in 2022 but this last year I really got into the rest of the book series. I found myself going back to the books store after finishing each book yearning to discover what happens next. Frank Herbert locks me in with his complex characters and their unique philosophies on religion, on power, on what it means to be a human. 

What makes us human? This is a core question in the books and this theme is especially present in the fourth book. During which Paul’s son Leto II is subjected to being the most human and also the least. It is tough to explain all the details of these books I enjoy without rambling but simply put I love the characters and their journeys. I love how these books built a fantastical world that feels so real and yet so alien.
